Quite unnerving the way a frog can hop out of nowhere. Lovely to see them though.

Bloody slugs had my first cauliflowers, too. I was spitting blood when I found them. Where’s a hungry hedgehog when you need one??

Frogs seem to have disappeared from yards around here. I think it’s because of all the lawn chemicals people use these days. It’s kind of sad.

Fabulous. I love frogs. I always wanted some in my garden but they never came when I had water. I would get lots of toads however, which wasn’t too bad.
